Amazing... Fabulous.... A must see

It was a great concert. If you have never seen Morrissey or if you have seen him a thousand times... it is worth it. Just fun, the crowd is amazing - I met a Rhodes Scholar, a college professor, and a Lawyer who works with a District Judge in immigration law. I can not say enough how amazing this show is... go.. take a loan out if you must... but go... he is fabulous. His voice is so incredible that I can not even begin to describe it..... he is a delight to watch on stage.... thank you Morrissey for an evening I will be telling my grandchildren about. I truly hope that I get the opportunity to see you again.

Vegas Residency

Don’t let the reviews from fair weather fans who only showed up to hear Smiths songs sway you. Legitimate Morrissey fans all know the set lists have been pure fire. “Our Frank” not played since 1991 back in the setlist!? Hell yes. Jack The Ripper, Little Man What Now, We Hate It When Our Friends.. all great additions to the setlist. Jenn B below claims she showed up to hear songs from The Queen is Dead and was left disappointed. Well apparently she’s never heard “Never Had No One Ever” because he played it and it’s been played very few times since 1986. If you’re a lukewarm casual fan that’s okay, but don’t dump all over the man because the one time you’ve seen him in his entire career that he didn’t cater the show to you.

This Charming Man

Morrisey put on a great show. I was a little apprehensive, given his recent history of not finishing shows, or last minute cancels, but we bought some last minute SRO tix and had a great night. MGM Music Hall is a great new venue. Sight lines were really good. The sound was superb, especially given that we were at the very back of the second level. Sound usually takes a hit underneath an overhang like that, but it was crystal clear with a great vocal mix. My only negative is that the SRO area is lower than the seating area in front of it. So, you’re standing about eight inches lower that the base of the last row of seats. Once the crowd stands up, forget seeing anything...like anything. You’re essentially at the level of their shoulder blades. So buyer beware. If you really want to see a popular show that may have the crowd on its feet a lot, you have to spring for seats.
